Can I check in early?
Check-in time is normally 4PM, but we’ll do our best to accommodate an early arrival. That said, we’ll need to wait for the green light from our housekeeping team to be sure the villa is fully prepared. We never want to compromise on cleanliness!
When do I get the check-in code?
You'll receive a Check-In Instructions email 5 days before your arrival. It will include your access code, detailed check-in instructions, and Wi-Fi login information for a smooth arrival.
Is there a pet fee?
We love furry guests! Our standard pet fee is $200 for up to two dogs, each weighing under 50 pounds. The yard is fully fenced for their enjoyment. Please remember to clean up after them. Thank you!
Is there a good place nearby to walk my dog?
Right across the street from the villa is Joe Stonis Park. It’s a great spot with a paved walking path, open grassy areas, and convenient pet clean-up stations.
How is the pool heated?
The system is powered by rooftop solar panels, which rely on circulating warm water during the day. Overnight, the pool naturally loses a few degrees, particularly after cooler evenings, but it typically warms back up as the system runs throughout the day.
Why isn’t the pool getting warm?
In cooler months, when air temperatures drop below 65°F, the pool may not reach 78°F, even with heating. Limited sunlight and colder air can make it challenging to maintain warmer water temperatures.
Is there an additional fee to heat the pool/spa?
Nope. Pool & spa heat is included. We recently installed solar heating to help maintain a comfortable water temperature year-round.
Why does the pool sometimes get cloudy or green when the spa is in use for a long time?
The pool and spa share the same water, pump, and chlorination system. When the system remains in spa mode for extended periods, the pool water doesn’t circulate or receive chlorine. This is especially risky in Southwest Florida’s heat, as it can lead to cloudy or green water due to the growth of algae.
Is there a limit to how much I can use the Spa?
To maintain a clean, safe, and properly chlorinated pool, we recommend limiting spa use to one hour per day between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. After 6 PM, feel free to enjoy the spa anytime—just be sure to turn off Spa Mode when you’re done.
What kitchen appliances are available?
The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig, drip coffee maker (#4 cone filters), toaster, microwave, crockpot, panini maker, rice cooker, air fryer, standard blender, immersion blender, and hand mixer. Everything you need to cook comfortably during your stay.
Do I need to bring my own towels and sheets?
No need! We provide all bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.
Where can I put my boat in the water?
The closest public boat ramp is just a few minutes from the villa at Sirenia Vista Park and Burnt Store Boat Ramp.
Where can I park my boat trailer?
You’re welcome to park your trailer in our driveway. While the city doesn’t officially allow extended trailer parking, past guests have done so without issue. Please note, however, we can’t guarantee it won’t be enforced..
